Working glossary for Veratix ODI/ODIP terms (draft).

Core terms

ODI (Operational Decision Intelligence)
The discipline of turning operational reality into governed, explainable signals and actions, with traceable outcomes.
ODIP (Operational Data Intelligence Platform)
The platform model that makes ODI repeatable across systems and tenants: ingestion, context, signal, action, and learning under a trust layer.
Signal
An explainable detection packaged with evidence, context, and references, meant to drive a decision or action.
Evidence
The artifacts and facts that support a signal (events, metrics, logs, traces, documents, references) with provenance.
Governance / Trust layer
The policies and controls that keep ODI safe: tenant isolation, RBAC, audit, retention, policy enforcement, and versioned meaning.
